I searched for a place where the ocean flows
To play the sounds that drift me off to sleep
I searched for a place where the flowers grow

To make my mornings so beautiful to me


I searched for a place with colored leaves
Where the air is not too hot or cold
I searched for a place where candles flicker

Where all of my thoughts can grow


I searched for a place where the stars are bright
with a clear night sky to view
I searched for a place where the evening skies are paintings

And the morning skies are blue


I searched for a place with peaceful fields
so that I could run around and feel free
I searched for a place where impossible was a bad word

And I could be anything I wanted to be


...It wasn't until you gave me a chance
That I knew I had taken the right road
...It wasn't until you kissed me for the first time

That I knew that this is where I would grow


...It wasn't until you said "I do"
That I knew I would never be alone
...and when you placed me in your heart
I knew...I was Finally home
