I wrote this song as a project in college. My task was to tell a story of my choosing. I chose to write about a boy with autism who was rejected and ended up being killed by his bully for standing up for himself.

Born y2k, j had problems from the start
Mum died at his birth and dad had no heart
By the time he was 6 he was beaten every day
‘Til the social saved him and took him away
When J turned 10, he was diagnosed
How he got ASD? No one really knows
At age 12, J started high school
And the older boys already saw him as a fool
He got tortured by Tyler and his gang
Every time they did, J cried and ran

4 years later, J had had enough
Wanted to prove to everyone he was tough
He came through the gates and saw his bully smirking
J went up even though fear was lurking
Smacked that punk right in the nose
Then j got pushed to the floor by his foes
Tyler pulled a knife and got J in the heart
J lied there bleeding until it went dark

J was gone and Tyler got sent down
Life with 12 years for that clown
Won’t bring J back but in the end he won
But his father found out and mourned his son
Regret and remorse overcame J’s dad
Drank himself to death with every bottle he had
All this happened because of rejection
