Did you know that for THE FLINTSTONES... The role of Sharon Stone was written for actress Sharon Stone -- hence the same name. But the actress turned it down as she was committed to another film. So Halle Berry got the part instead. Halle later said the role was special to her because it wasn't written for a Black woman -- it was for a sexy woman. They cast her without regard to her race -- and that made her very happy.
