On September 25, twenty seven year old ,Kala Taylor, was shot in the head during a shooting on Interstate 70 in St. Louis. Kalaβs death comes at a time when many black women are being killed in St. Louis. The news reported that seven black women had been killed in seven days, and this has alarmed many citizens in the area. A tick-tocker in St. Louis wanted to bring attention to the fact that black women were intentionally being shot, and the news also stated that black women and sex workers were being targeted. Nevertheless, it really doesnβt matter what line of work a black woman is in, if there is a serial killer that is specifically targeting this group of women, we need to be concerned. I saw on a Facebook post that the FBI is about to get involved with these killings in St. Louis. I will continue to follow the story.
